Why do you want to be Conductor-Sentinel?

I am running for Conductor Sentinel and all the positions above because I refuse to sit on the sidelines anymore. I am going to actively participate in this union and do my best to provide positive results for this membership.

What are your goals if you become Conductor-Sentinel?

The goal of Conductor Sentinel and all positions I am running for besides Senior Board is to learn. Learn what it is our membership truly wants to negotiate for. As Senior Board I will be a negotiator and with that I intend to negotiate for Better wage increases, Better Medical plans to be offered, More paid time off/vacation, Penalties against the company for violating the contract including financial penalties, decrease the amount of time needed to accrue vacation, plus try to remove the grey area language out of our CBA and much more.

Why should the membership choose you over the other candidates?

You should vote for me as I will do my best to represent the wants and needs of the membership in everything I participate in. I have been on the E-Board for the last 9 years and I know what it takes to do the job and create a better environment for our union membership.

Additional information you’d like the membership to know?

I care about the membership acquiring and maintaining generational wealth as this is what I believe a union is meant to give to its membership. I have taken leadership 1 and leadership 2 classes for our union at the W3 center and I have attended the last two of our Grand Lodge Conventions.
